this short information has been provided to introduce our organization (INDEPENDENT MATERIAL TESTING LABORATORIES, DEMINING & ENGINEERING SERVICES) as a potential Construction QA+Material Testing+Geo-Technical Investigation Laboratories, Demining, Capacity Development and Engineering Services' Group working to serve the Country thru standardization of the Construction, reconstruction and Infrastructure Development services’ quality; improvement of Peace, Afghan Capacity development and provision of work opportunities for Afghan Communities. This document has been developed and provided to reflect our Qualifications; capacity; Mission; Vision; Past Professional Experience & Performance; Management, Financial and resource strengths which determine the capability for organizations. In light of the above statement these information have been organized in a manner that easily addressing and explaining the required information (our capacities, strengths and Management system) specifically and with clear titles.
Our Company has been formally established and organized under the title of INDEPENDENT LABORATORIES in 2007 as a Non-Political and Non-Governmental partnership with the Vision to serve the Country thru the standardization of Construction, reconstruction and Infrastructure Development services’ quality and provide technical services in Laboratory Analysis & Testing of Construction Materials; Geotechnical Evaluations; Soil Analysis; Construction Quality Control of quality assurance services; Geometric Measurement, Alignment Services, Dimensional inspections and Surveying; Architectural and Structural Designs; UXO Clearance & Demining Services and Construction Material Transportation & supply services for Local contractors, government, and other donor Organizations working for Afghanistan’s Stability and development. In 2008 the company has been formally registered and privileged to work all over the Country in more than 32 Provinces with License No. (D-36807) in Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA), furthermore our organization has been registered to the CCR with DUNS 850508083 and NCAGE Code SQC47.
Since 2008 the INDEPENDENT LABORATORIES has been continuously providing related services in various construction projects all over the country. Presently our teams have been sufficiently developed & staffed with qualified Afghan experts getting more than Four (4) years co-working experiences and they have been equipped with modern, more sensitive ISO standard digital equipment. Our teams have been organized with a professional and effective Management system that guarantees the proper administration of long term Quality controlling/Material testing contracts on construction site all over the country.
Our vision is to be a first-line National (Afghan) CQM; Material/Product testing; Material producer; Survey & Design; UXO Clearing and Demining Company having highlighted role in the construction product/business standardization, excellence of a peaceable Afghanistan thru Rehabilitation; Infrastructure and Capacity development and to grow-up toward the International CQC, Design and material production level.
Our mission is to achieve the above targeted (Vision) goals thru the provision of standard CQM solutions; Geotechnical analysis; standard material production; professional on-site and Laboratory tests with realistic results. We planned & always try to maintain standard and comprehensive business relations and to be an allegiant contractor for donors & clients working for Afghanistan stability.
Our current capability includes the Construction Materials Production, Testing & controlling experts equipped with ISO standard modern and digital equipment available in 24 hours anywhere you require in countrywide; significant lots of the laboratory equipment, experts and strong management closed to your projects at our active zone-offices which cover and control operations and quick deployments for the prompt response, successful and rational contract administration of the ongoing & upcoming projects in South, North, East Center and West of Afghanistan. We have organized strong transportation facilities to support your projects in faraway and we help your projects both, in Quality Management and On-time completion.
Our technical capability includes, more than Twenty-six (26) Material, Geotechnics & Civil Engineering, CQM, Demining and Survey experts (Managers and Officers) having more than Fifteen (15) or Seven (7) Years Continuous experience in related fields and they have been certified with all the required ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, IMAS, ACSM, ALTA, CQM (USACE) standard qualification for different fields of construction Quality Controlling, Geotechnical analysis, Material production procedures and laboratory testing.

We own and utilize standard ISO 9001; AMRL (AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory) ASTM and AASHTOO, JIS, ELE accredited Laboratory Equipment and International Mince Action Program Certified Demining Equipment. We use the most advanced ad latest Digital (computerized) Technology equipment that provide more accurate results for analytical services of construction materials; Topographical surveys and Mine clearance and laboratory testing services we provide.
We provide the Architectur and Stractur Design services for both, Horizontal and Vertical structures using the most advanced software internationally used for relevant professional fields. We generally provide the design services using the listed software (SCI, Autodesk and other popular Software):

In addition we work for Afghan Capacity Development and provide skill development programs in countrywide. We provide theoretical Knowledge development (Teaching) opportunities and internship for afghan nationals, especially youths needing skills for new careers and capacity development for construction tradesmen. The program provides a wide-ranging employment for local labors and their trainings in different construction trades. We teach and practically train them during the project implementation. The program is planned parallel, equitable and simultaneously with Construction project implementation under the direct supervision of “Capacity Development Managers” and instructor teams. The teaching stage of mentioned program is performed in our main office in Kabul province and the practical trainings for students are provided on-site during the construction project implementation. We practically train the students in CQM and Material testing procedures during our services for construction companies on their project sites.
Generally we have planned the program to include both, Male and female students in the capacity development and to help & support them gain the standard skills in construction business. We have organized our program in a manner to provide at least the equal training opportunity for both, male and female students. As per the cultural considerations we have wisely dedicated some of the training fields only for Female students as stated below.
