Country Director Afghanistan For IWPR

IWPR is looking to recruit a Country Director to oversee the organisation’s work in Afghanistan . IWPR is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic candidate with the strategic and operational capacity to implement our existing work and grow our programme both nationally and regionally. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in field project management and fundraising of complex, multi-institutional projects.

Specifically the role will involve: responsibility for the day to day management of IWPR’s Afghan programme, inclusive of managing local staff and international consultants; ensuring delivery against all current programmes, financial probity in field office, timely and accurate reporting (narrative & financial), and the development of new programmes for IWPR – Afghanistan; representing the organisation at a local and international level, ensuring appropriate and effective communications across the IWPR network.
