Activities of Quest net banned in Afghanistan
The activities of Quest Net Irs Union in Afghanistan have been banned by the government of Afghanistan said Eng. A. Sangin Minister of Communications and IT and Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industries in a press conference made for this purpose on Tuesday Feb. 12, 2008 in the conference room of the Ministry of Communications and IT.
A. Sangin underlined that activities of this group of people was engaged in pyramid business for Quest Net of Hong Kong and they were doing this without any legal license from any governmental Ministry or Administration.
Minister Sangin said that the activities had the following three major damaging effects on our country and our people.
Huge economic loss to the people of Afghanistan
The drain of hard currency from our country.
And to further avoid the economic loss of their family members and relatives, whom they invite for joining this business.
For the above reasons, the government of Afghanistan decided in the cabinet meeting dated Feb. 11, 2008 to ban the activities of this union.
Secondly, Mr. Muhammad Sharif Sharifi the Deputy Minister of Ministry of Commerce and Industries said that the Quest Net IR Union have not been issued any license and added that some of these individuals have been issued general import/export license which in no way authorize them to carry pyramid trade activities for Quest Net.
