Ariana Afghan Airlines will resume its flights from Kabul to Frankfurt, the only destination for Ariana in Europe again.
On February 15th, 2008, Ariana Afghan Airlines received entry permission to Germany. Ariana Afghan will start its operation to Frankfurt on February 25th, 2008. The flight will be operated by Airbus A321 via Istanbul, Turkey.

Ariana Afghan Airlines fleet was banned banned in the EU in July 2006. It was huge blow to Ariana Afghan Airlines and to afghan economy, because Ariana Afghan Airlines, is the only airline which fly from Kabul to Europe.

Safi Airways a private afghan company is also expected to start flights from Kabul to Europe this year.
