Finance Manager for Insight Consulting Groupe
Insight Consulting(IC) is an Afghan owned company which has positioned itself in Afghanistan as an end-to-end services and consulting company, specializing in fields such as private and public sector consulting, marketing and business development. We have successfully serviced both the private and public sectors in Afghanistan.
IC is the first Afghan incorporated company blending Afghan know-how and relationships with international best practices in the services specialization sectors stated above. Our head office is located in the heart of Kabul city, along with Regional offices in Herat, Mazaar, Jalalabad & Kandahar.
Insight Consulting Group seeks a finance manager with experience in office accounting and relevant software, knowledge of USAID reporting mechanisms and standards, and familiarity with international donor funded projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Prepare accounts and reconciling balance sheets;
2. Oversee payroll and office expenses;
3. Manage office accounts;
4. Prepare reports for project donors in accordance with USAID and other relevant standards;
5. Conduct pricing and competitor analysis;
6. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
7. Prepare accounts and reconciling balance sheets;
8. Monitor cash flow;
9. Liaise with other members of the Insight team.
Qualifications required:
1. University degree in Business or Finance.
2. Excellent English and Dari a must.
3. Capacity to plan, prioritize and deliver tasks on time and to work under pressure with colleagues at all levels.
4. Experience as accountant for USAID funded project.
5. Problem-solving, multi- tasking and time-management skills.
6. Good organizational skills, tact, and ability to deal with confidential matters in a discreet and reliable manner.
7. Familiar with Excel and other accounting software.
8. Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
9. Must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar field.
10. Experience working with international donors a plus.
