Internet Service Providers (ISP) in Afghanistan

Internet acces in Afghanistan has still a long way to go, but there are a few successful Internet service providers. We would introduce the shortly.

NEDA
Neda Telecommunications Company, a part of Neda Holding, became the first official license holder from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Afghanistan.

CeReTechs:
CeReTechs primarily is a leading Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Solution Provider Company which came into being in 1996 out side the country and in March 2002 as the first Internet Service Provider of Afghanistan.

INSTAInsta Telecom:
Insta Telecom has been the first company to install a full-mesh VSAT network across the country for the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology Afganistan.

Exports up by 19.6% in 3rd Quarter of 2007

Afghanistan’s 3rd quarter Exports in 2007 increased by 19.6% compared to 2006 according to figures from Central Statistics Office. In the third quarter of 2007 Afghanistan’s exports reached $107 million vs. $87 million for same period in 2006.

Ariana Airlines to resume flights to Frankfurt
