The company was formed in 2006 and since then has provided services to several major clients, both commercial and military, within Afghanistan. Afghan Royal is undergoing an aggressive expansion program including the building of 5 regional warehouses. Since incorporation Afghan Royal has managed to develop to become one of the major suppliers of force protection materials and products. The expansion program aims to make Afghan Royal one of the most capable and efficient logistics companies operating within Afghanistan. Afghan Royal has recently recruited American and British Directors to assist in development and interfacing with military and western companies. The company will shortly have a single point of contact for each region. Afghan Royal is totally committed to the rebuilding of Afghanistan and the development of the country for the benefit of the Afghan Nation. The company has 50 full time employees spread over 5 warehouse locations; the company also employs additional staff on short term contracts. Afghan Royal won a significant Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the US Department of Defense for force protection of its bases. This is a 5 year agreement which commenced on 19th June 2009, covering all locations in Afghanistan. Since the award the company has been focusing on building on their existing service and capability to allow the provision of services outside of the agreement. Afghan Royal has a fixed pricing structure and also fixed transportation prices, these are reviewed periodically.
