Afghan Royal is a wholly owned Afghan Logistics Company and is part of the Siddiqqi Group of Companies. The core business is service, supply and transportation. The company was formed in 2006 and since then has provided services to several major clients, both commercial and military, within Afghanistan. Afghan Royal is undergoing an aggressive expansion program including the building of 5 regional warehouses. Since incorporation Afghan Royal has managed to develop to become one of the major suppliers of force protection materials and products. The expansion program aims to make Afghan Royal one of the most capable and efficient logistics companies operating within Afghanistan. Afghan Royal has recently recruited American and British Directors to assist in development and interfacing with military and western companies. The company will shortly have a single point of contact for each region. Afghan Royal is totally committed to the rebuilding of Afghanistan and the development of the country for the benefit of the Afghan Nation. The company has 50 full time employees spread over 5 warehouse locations; the company also employs additional staff on short term contracts. Afghan Royal won a significant Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the US Department of Defense for force protection of its bases. Sadaf Petroleum Kabul Limited (SPK) was founded in 2005 as an outgrowth of capabilities present in SMN Investments Holdings, in response to strong market demand for fuels in Afghanistan’s rapidly developing economy. SPK now supplies diesel, aviation and petrol throughout the country. Total annual supply of fuels exceeds 80 million liters, including both public sector and private sector clients. Workforce of more than 250 employees throughout Afghanistan. Annual growth of the company for each of its first three years exceeded 100% Projected annual growth is expected to increase from 2009 onward. SPK maintains and operates facilities with a total combined storage capacity exceeding 6.5 million liters. In line with its projected growth and rapidly improving supply lines, SPK will add more than 30 million liters of fuel storage capacity in 2009 (currently in development) to become the largest Afghan-owned fuel supply company in the country.
