We work closely with Afghan government agencies, the US and other Coalition governments, the United Nations and a range of non-governmental organizations operating in Afghanistan. WSC is assembling a team of technical specialists to evaluate the capacity of several major Afghan universities to develop and disseminate media products (e.g., student-led radio broadcasting, magazine/newspaper publishing, and video production). The structural engineer will be a key member of our team, which will travel to six university campuses in a six-week period to assess the current media capacities of each school and the potential for expanding these capacities through new construction and/or investment in appropriate equipment and personnel training.
